Father's Day gift guide for WFH dads

๐Ÿ‘‹ Hey Reader!

I asked a bunch of y'all what tools or gadgets you're loving right now so I thought I'd share a few of them that came in. Forward this email to your partner if they're asking you what you want for Father's Day and say which ones you wouldn't mind getting.

T.J. recommended a Ridge key case

This looks cool. If you've got a lot of keys, this basically lets you make a 'swiss-army knife' out of them. TJ has it and said he 'freaking loves this thing.'

My wife just ordered me this indoor Saunaโ€‹

I don't have the desire to build a $8,000 sauna in my backyard, BUT I do really love that this thing can fit in my garage and costs $700. Looking forward to being able to do a 20 min sauna in the evenings.

I don't have it yet though so can't vouch for the quality, but according to ChatGPT, it's one of the best ones at this price range and size.

Justin recommended a Nespresso machineโ€‹

Justin said that while he drinks pour over coffee in the morning, he will break up the day with a cheap decaf espresso shot.

I do something similar. Fancy coffee is awesome, but you will be so much more satisfied in life if you can also get by with a simple Nespresso or K-cup.

I recommend this air compressorโ€‹

I use the compressor on our car tires, stroller tires, bike tires, and to fill up sports balls. The inflator tool (on the left) was also super handy when I filled up a little inflatable pool for the kids this past week.

Mark recommended this LOTR companion guideโ€‹

This one is for you Lord of the Rings nerds. Mark texted his wife about this reader's companion and then couldn't wait and just bought it himself.

Ben recommended the Oura Ring 5โ€‹

I've had the Oura Ring 4 myself for over a year and have liked it.

Here's what Ben said about the Oura Ring 5:

I just got this. I am really struggling with sleep and keeping up physical activity (between work and kids I just can't seem to find the time). I've had it just a week and it's really helping me be mindful of what I do during the day, and night. I don't like wearing anything when I'm sleeping so I've had a hard time keeping my Apple Watch on. The ring is not invisible but it's much more tolerable. It does seem incredibly accurate.

T.J. also recommended Burlebo's father-son collection

If you want some cool matching shirts with your son that aren't cringe, these are a great option.

I recommend a KVM switchโ€‹

This KVM switch is great if you have a work computer and a personal computer but want to use both of them with one monitor, one keyboard, one mouse, etc without unplugging anything.

You plug all your peripherals into the KVM switch and then one cable goes to your personal computer and one cable goes to your work computer. Then you push a button to say which computer you want all the peripherals connected to.

You can see how I use it here in this home office tour video.

Hart recommended the best bit driverโ€‹

He coined it 'the best bit driver humanity has ever invented' to be specific.

Here's what Hart wrote:

I have purchased like seven of these, one lives in my go bag, another lives in my desk drawer at home, another lives at my job, another one lives in the car tool kit, and Iโ€™ve given at least three away as gifts.

He was so enthusiastic about this, he shared a short video showing why he loves it over on Threads.

You going to get any of this stuff? I've got my eye on that bit driver!

Happy Father's Day man ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
